Stored URL is not relative

description

Hi,

I have a problem when using Alternate Access Mapping/Extended Web Applications in that the image URL is stored with the host name at the front e.g

http://myintranet/subsite/someimagelibrary/theimage.png

When exposing the site via AAM such as for an extranet the url points to a location that does not exist.

It should be:

/subsite/someimagelibrary/theimage.png

Which means that when accessing the site via the intranet http://myintranet/ there is no issue however, as soon as we are accessing it via another name such as https://myextranet.company.com it is trying to reference http://myintranet/subsite/someimagelibrary/theimage.png

If I haven't explained myself clearly enough then let me know and I will try and explain in better English!

Thanks in advance,

Rich
